These are a few of our most frequently asked questions. If you have any questions that are not addressed here, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us!
Whichever equestrian activity you choose at Crossogue, we advise you to bring a well-fitting riding hat and suitable footwear. This should be a flat boot, with a slight raised heel. We don’t allow guests to wear trainers as this is against our safety precautions. For all riding activities we advise our guests to wear an approved body protector. We don’t allow riders over jumps and on the cross-country without an approved body protector so make sure you come prepared. Suitable riding rainwear is always a good idea.
We will look after all your transport needs, be it helping you with the use of public transport to get to Crossogue or organizing a personalized car or bus to get you from the plane to our door. We are happy to build this into the package price of your holiday if required.
Our guests will usually get up for breakfast at 9 to be ready for their first ride at 10. Depending on the group, all riders will either work in the arena or cross country for the morning until 12:30. Lunch is served at 1:30 and for guests hoping to improve their English, lunch is followed by an English lesson. All guests will then have an afternoon ride followed by some time to relax. Dinner is usually served at 7:30 and guests can then relax for the evening.
